Is this a book or a file?

Everything in this shop is a digital file. You download a PDF and print it at home. Nothing is shipped, so there is no waiting and no postage. If you would rather have a real paperback, see the question about paperbacks below.

What exactly do I get?

One ZIP file containing:

• the full book as a US Letter PDF;
• the same book as an A4 PDF;
• a short printing guide and your personal use licence.

A4 or US Letter, which one should I print?

Pick whichever matches the paper you own. A4 is standard in Europe, US Letter in North America. Both files contain the same 48 illustrations, so you are not missing anything either way.

What paper works best?

Ordinary printer paper is fine for coloured pencils. If you like markers or fineliners, print on something heavier, ideally 120 gsm or more. Set your printer to the highest quality setting and make sure scaling is set to 100 percent, not “fit to page”, so the proportions stay right.

Will markers bleed through to the next page?

Not onto another illustration. Every page is single sided, so the back of each drawing is blank. In the paperback edition the blank backs are part of the layout for the same reason. Heavy alcohol markers can still soak through a single sheet, so slip a spare sheet underneath if you use them.

Can I print the same page more than once?

Yes, as many times as you like, for yourself and your household. That is the point of a printable. If you make a mess of a page, print another one.

Can I sell or share the pages?

No. Your licence covers personal, non commercial use. You may not resell the files, share them, upload them anywhere or use the artwork commercially. You may absolutely share photos of pages you have coloured in, we love seeing those. Full details are in our terms.

Can I use them in my classroom or therapy practice?

For a single class or group, printing copies for the people in the room is fine. Anything beyond that, such as distributing files to other teachers or including them in a paid product, needs a different licence. Write to us and we will sort something out.

My download did not arrive. What now?

First check your spam folder, then look under My account, where every order keeps its download link. If it is still missing, email kontakt@karolnowak.eu with your order number and we will send the file straight to you.

Do you have paperbacks?

Printed editions are on their way to Amazon. If you would rather colour in a real bound book than print loose sheets, that is the version to wait for. We will announce it here and to everyone on our list.

Who are these books for?

Older children, teens and adults. The drawings have character, mature proportions and detailed scenes, without the childish mascot styling you find in toddler colouring books, and without the microscopic patterns that make some adult books exhausting rather than relaxing.

Can I get a refund?

Digital files cannot really be returned once downloaded, so purchases are generally final. That said, if a file is broken, will not open or is not what was described, we will fix it or refund you. See the refund policy.
